OUR EMBODIED APPROACH

We all encounter trauma in our lives, often stemming from the narratives we formed during our childhood and youth to feel safe. When faced with traumatic events or stressful situations, we can become trapped in our body's natural stress response cycle.

These harmful narratives have shaped who you are and how you interact with the world, often leaving you feeling stuck in cycles of shame and grief, unable to move freely or see clearly.

At our Retreat, we will integrate Storywork along with Somatic Movement for a holistic, embodied approach to healing.

Our bodies have stories to tell. Through listening to our breath, sensations, emotions, and non-conscious movements, we can become more attuned to our good bodies. This attunement allows us to grow in our ability to sit with others in their stories and bodies, fostering deeper connection and mutual healing.

What others have said:

“This retreat engages all your senses while connecting you to others and the earth. It was filled with culture, play, rest, and creativity. The leaders are experienced in creating safety in groups and totally capable of engaging story in a safe and healing way.”

“It was a retreat I did not realize how much I needed! Kim & Jenny are a skilled safe team who guided us through difficult stories of harm & invited our bodies & voices to be a part of the healing. I left feeling more integrated & peaceful. Thank you!!”

“It is a beautiful place to do hard things with very good bodies!”
